Country reports must include:
Presentations will begin Monday, January 25. We will do a few each class period until all have presented. If you are unprepared for the day you are to report, 15 points will be automatically deducted from your grade.
75 possible points:
- Geographic location: Is it on the coastline? Mountains? Desert? Tropical? What’s the weather like?
- People: Population? Do most of the people live in the city or country? What do people do for jobs?
- Holidays: (Include at least two) How do they celebrate?
- Food: What are the main crops there and what do people eat?
- Clothing: How do they dress? Do you know why they dress that way?
- Education: Does the government offer a free public education? Do the students wear uniforms? What are the schools like? What percentage of the people are educated?
- Recreation: What do the people do for fun?
- Interesting facts: Include three interesting things that make your country unique.
